The cemetery has been abandoned for many years and is now buried under debris and is hidden in thick woods behind Mrs. Marie Ray's house on the Old Philadelphia Chuch Rd. She lives a short distance from the Attapulgus Highway (65). There is an easement on one side of the Ray property where you can enter. Deep in the woods are abandoned graves with markers tilted or fallen down. One marble marker stands high: the grave of Betty Speight, wife of John Mayson (1854-1885). Others lie on the ground broken or half buried. This cemetery was viewed in July, 2010 by members of the Poston family looking for the graves of Samuel and Jane.
